Support the Survivors Justice Project (SJP)
The Survivors Justice Project (SJP) is an interdisciplinary collective, housed in the Criminal Defense & Advocacy Clinic, that fights for the decarceration of domestic violence survivors. In addition to the clinic’s direct representation of survivors in prison, SJP’s Advisory Group leads efforts to support survivors and legal teams across New York State and nationally, to educate those who hold power in the criminal legal system about domestic abuse and trauma, and to track the impact of the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act by collecting statewide data on its implementation.
All contributions to SJP will further the life-changing impact of this multi-faceted mission by supporting student work and the efforts of the Advisory Group.
