Your $500 gift to name a seat in Linehan Concert Hall or the Proscenium Theatre directly benefits the arts and humanities at UMBC. In return for your contribution, a plaque engraved with your name (or text of your choice) will adorn a seat. All funds raised from the seats will fund an endowment to ensure that arts productions and other programs are available for future generations.

The engraving you select can celebrate your family, friends, or business, commemorate a special occasion, or honor the memory of a loved one. It's the perfect gift for an arts lover or the person who has everything.

You can dedicate a seat:

• as an individual, family, or group
• with the name of your business or organization
• to commemorate a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion
• to honor a graduating UMBC student
• with your favorite quotation

Plaques are ¾ " by 2 ¼ " and are limited to 3 lines, with 26 characters per line, including spaces and punctuation.

Please note that location of the seats within the theatre or hall will be determined by UMBC staff, who will notify you of the location. Seat sponsors must still purchase tickets to any performance at the theatre or hall, and are not guaranteed seating in the chairs bearing their names.
