Support the UML Arboretum and Sustainability

Click to explore opportunities. If you are naming space in the arboretum, a staff member will be in touch with you following the completion of your gift to confirm your inscription and to select the location of your named space.

Adopt a Bench: $10,000
  • Existing benches on campus can be named with a $10,000 donation, payable over a three-year period.  
  • Benches named in memory of or in honor of people will bear a plaque with names and class years or years of service, if applicable.
  • Opportunities are available for reunion classes to adopt a bench.
Name a Garden, Grove or Green Space: Starting at $5,000
  • Starting at $5,000, spaces are available to be named including the Pollination Center, Olney Green Space, gazebo on South Campus and smaller gardens.
Name a Campus Tree: $2,500
  •  Memorialize/honor someone meaningful in your life or recognize your class year during a milestone reunion.
    •  A tag will be affixed to an existing campus tree identifying tree species and donor information including names and class years.  
  • Donors may request the area of campus where they want their tree to be named.
Join the UML Arboretum Sustainer Society: $10 per month or $120 per year
  • Inspire research, sustainability and a vibrant campus.
  • As a sustainer, you will receive:
    • An invitation to annual arboretum grounds tours.
    • Acknowledgment of your support listed on the UMass Lowell Arboretum website.
