BOTANIC GARDEN GIVING AND MEMBERSHIP
Centered on an early 20th century farmstead, the Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University offers visitors a unique
view of the cultural and natural heritage of the Southeastern Coastal Plain, an area rich in unique and endangered plants.
The Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University’s 15-acre site, located in the middle of the growing city of Statesboro,
includes walking woodland trails, Bland Cottage, Heritage Garden, Heritage Arbor, Heritage Pavilion, Farmyard, Rose Arbor,
Children’s Learning Garden, Whelchel Camellia Garden, Native Plant Landscape Garden, Native Azalea Collection, Bog Garden, 
The Oak Grove One-Room Schoolhouse, and much more.

Bricks are inscribed and installed on the terrace of the Whelchel Camellia Garden in front of Bland Cottage.
