Neumann alumni are making their way in the world. They are the business leaders, educators, and transformers of the world. Their actions reflect what it truly means to have received a Catholic education in the Franciscan tradition.
To celebrate their accomplishments, the alumni association celebrates the Alumni Awards during Charter/Sponsorship Day. All are welcome to participate in the awards process by sharing the achievements of fellow alumni through nomination.
Nominations for any award may be submitted throughout the year and will be held for future consideration.

John Neumann Award: Awarded to an outstanding alumnus/a whom through his/her own professional development, service to Neumann University and community service, have exemplified the values of the University.
Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award: Awarded to outstanding an alumnus/a who demonstrates a personal commitment to the University and to the Neumann University Alumni Association through volunteer service. Alumni Recognition Award: Awarded to an outstanding alumnus/a who has shown dedication and devoted service to Neumann University. Young Alumni Achievement Award: Awarded to a young alumnus/na (less than 40 years old by January 1st in the year of the award year) in recognition for outstanding achievement in their profession while upholding the mission and values of Neumann University.
Honorary Alumni Award: Awarded to a non-alumnae/i whose past, present and potential impact on the Neumann University community qualifies them for alumni status. The honoree's professional, personal, civic and philanthropic pursuits reflect the high standards and Franciscan values associated with Neumann University, the Neumann University Alumni Association and higher education.
The Spirit of Francis and Clare of Assisi Award recognizes a graduate whose demonstrated commitment to the Catholic Franciscan tradition and values has led him/her to develop an initiative that makes a significant impact in one or more of the following areas:
Other awards presented on awards night include the President’s Distinguished Alumni Award and Distinguished Alumni by School.
Paid employees of Neumann University are not eligible for alumni awards unless deemed appropriate by the President of the Alumni Association and the President of the University. Volunteers are eligible.
