Sooner Competitive Robotics

Sooner Competitive Robotics (SCR) is a student-led team dedicated to providing hands-on engineering experience that mirrors real-world industry practices. Our interdisciplinary team, which includes students from every engineering major as well as some non-engineering fields, develops skills in PCB design and assembly, CAD, 3D printing, CNC machining, robotics software, computer vision, and machine learning. We compete in multiple robotics competitions, including the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition (IGVC), combat robotics, and STORM - a competition we host to expand robotics opportunities for universities across the Great Plains and nearby regions. As a team committed to accessibility, we rely heavily on donations to cover travel expenses, tools, and all robot components, ensuring that our members never have to pay membership fees or travel costs.
