The College of Liberal Arts offers students a well-rounded education in the humanities and social sciences, providing them with a solid foundation for a lifetime of learning and discovery. The largest academic unit at UNLV, it offers undergraduate and graduate studies programs in anthropology, English, history, interdisciplinary studies, political science, philosophy, psychology, sociology, and world languages and cultures. In addition to its nine academic majors, the College of Liberal Arts is home to Black Mountain Institute, English Language Center, Forum Lecture Series, English Language Center, The PRACTICE, Wilson Advising Center, Women’s Research Institute of Nevada, and Writing Center.
