School of Social Work CARE Fund

At the UTA School of Social Work, we prepare students to be the change-makers of tomorrow. However, even the most dedicated students can encounter unexpected hardships that jeopardize their ability to continue their education. That’s why we established the CARE Fund—to offer essential financial assistance when students need it most.

SSW CARE Fund

CARE Fund Key Areas:

  • Emergency Assistance: Life can be unpredictable. A flat tire, an unexpected medical expense, or a late utility bill can quickly turn into a roadblock to success. The CARE Fund helps students experiencing an urgent financial crisis stay focused on their education.
  • Tuition Assistance: For some students, an unexpected life event—such as job loss, a family emergency, or sudden financial hardship—can render tuition unaffordable. The CARE Fund provides assistance to help students continue their studies without disruption.
  • Conference Support: Our students are passionate about learning and sharing knowledge. The CARE Fund provides financial support for students to attend and present at social work conferences, allowing them to develop professionally and broaden their impact.

One-Time Gift – A single gift paid in full.
Pledge – A single gift paid in installments over a specified period of time.
Recurring Gift – A regular, ongoing gift charged monthly, quarterly, twice per year, or yearly. Recurring gifts will continue until cancelled.
