STUDENT PHILANTHROPY

Student philanthropy is students helping students. Why does it matter? Student philanthropy has long-term effects at TAMIU that not only help your current classmates succeed, but future Dustdevil generations as well. It's important to give back because there are already so many others who give and have your back.

 The Student Philanthropy Council and Student Philanthropy Ambassadors have raised over $50,000 to support programs and scholarships at TAMIU. The Council and the Ambassadors are separate student groups, but work together in raising awareness on the importance of philanthropy at TAMIU and inspiring students to give back.

The mission of SPA is to create lasting, positive change at TAMIU and inspire others to do the same along the way.

Class Giving Campaign

The CGC was started by students, for students in 2016 as a way to inspire students to give back to their alma mater and help other students graduate by alleviating their financial stress.
