Alumni Council Nominations

The Alumni Council is the representative body of the Knox College Alumni Association, and provides assistance carrying out its mission of creating lifelong connections to the College among alumni.

We are committed to building a large and diverse pool of candidates that is reflective of the global Knox community and ensures the best representation of the Alumni Association.

Ideal nominees for At Large Member positions are alumni with a shared commitment to our alma mater, and who are engaged with, and interested in promoting, Knox College.

The deadline to submit nominations is February 1.

And there’s no need to wait for someone to nominate you—we welcome and encourage self-nominations!
Nomination Details/CriteriaNomination Details/Criteria
  • Positions are a three-year fiscal year term–July 1 to June 30.
  • At Large members may be re-elected for one additional three-year term, (but may not be elected to a third term prior to an elapsed period of two years).
  • Members are expected to attend two board meetings per year (virtual option available) and dedicate time throughout the year to execute their role.
  • Selection will depend upon the number of openings, commitment to/active participation with the College, and number of qualified nominees.
  • Nominees will remain on the list for consideration for four years. Re-nomination is permitted.
  • Please make sure to include any information that will help the Nominating Committee in their review of all candidates.
