Alumni Achievement Nomination

To recognize alumni for their significant achievements and contributions to their profession and community and for leadership, innovation, and life work that represents the mission and values of the College.

Attendance at Knox College for at least one full academic year.

The recipient should have attained outstanding success and national or international distinction in their chosen profession or life’s work.  Their accomplishments should reflect admirably on or bring honor to the College and reflect the strengths of the Knox education – coherent and insightful communication, independent thought, and appreciation of cultural diversity. Special consideration will be given to those who demonstrate significant initiative by starting innovative service projects, research, businesses, or other original enterprises.

Serves as an outstanding role model for alumni, and current and future Knox College students.

Preferably, recipients should demonstrate ongoing loyalty and dedication to the College and participation in advancing the mission of the College.

The following are not eligible for the award: previous recipients, general members of the Board of Trustees of Knox College, current members of the Alumni Council’s Awards Committee and Executive Committee, and persons holding only honorary doctorates from Knox College.
