2020-21 Maryann Hartman Awards

Join us for the 2020-21 Maryann Hartman Awards, named for the late UMaine associate professor of communication, which has recognized Maine women's achievements in arts, politics, business, education, and community service since 1986. Maryann Hartman (1927-1980) was a distinguished educator, feminist, scholar, and humanitarian. The work of the Hartman award-winners (or awardees) provides inspiration to others and testifies to women's potential in their contemporary world.
This virtual event, sponsored by UMaine's Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program and hosted by the University of Maine Alumni Association, will begin at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern) and will take place Thursday, March 25th. It will be conducted online using Zoom, a free, easy-to-use video conferencing tool that is compatible with desktop and laptop computers, tablets, and smart phones.

Once you have registered here, you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a special link to the Zoom video conference the evening of Wednesday, March 24th (the day before the virtual event).

Please call Aysha Vear at 207.581.1146 if you have any questions.
