Sisters of Divine Providence Legacy Scholarship Fund

From their earliest days in Texas, the Sisters of Divine Providence embraced the belief that education transforms lives, strengthens families, and uplifts communities. Inspired by the vision of Father John Martin Moye—who taught that those with the greatest need deserve the greatest access to education—the Sisters built a legacy rooted in service, community, and trust in Providence. That legacy continues today at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU).

Our students carry this mission forward. Many are the first in their families to pursue a college degree, balancing work, family responsibilities, and full academic schedules. They bring determination, resilience, and a deep trust that their hard work will create opportunities for themselves and those they love.

This year, scholarship support is more important than ever.
Federal reductions in discretionary grant funding are affecting universities nationwide, including Hispanic-Serving and Minority-Serving Institutions like OLLU. As a result, students who are already striving to overcome financial barriers now face even greater challenges.

Your support makes an immediate and meaningful difference.
A gift to the Sisters of Divine Providence Legacy Scholarship Fund helps students stay enrolled, manage unexpected hardships, and continue their path toward becoming the teachers, nurses, social workers, business leaders, and ministers who strengthen our communities.

Thank you for your generosity, your partnership, and the hope you bring to our OLLU family.
